On Tuesday, May 9 , 2017at 11:00 a.m, Chief Ronald Haddad and the Dearborn Police Department will be hosting
the annual Safe Mature and Responsible Teens “SMART” Safe Summer Driving Campaign encouraging Safe Driving.
The event will be held at the Dearborn Police Station located at 16099 Michigan Ave in Dearborn. Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death among American teenagers, children and young adults every year among them 23 percent are drivers under 21 years of age.
Honorable Mayor John B. O’Reilly, Jr, as well as representatives from Mothers Against Drunk Driving, AAA Michigan, Ford Motor Company’s “Driving Skills for Life” program, local High School representatives and other invited guests including the AHRC for this informative media event.
