Dear AHRC and Friends:
We thank you all for inviting us to be with you at your semi-annual convention, for your warm welcome and loving embrace in friendship.
We were so honored by the tribute given by AHRC for our daughter, Kayla Mueller and her work creating a culture of respect to human dignity by speaking out against violence and injustice and using her gifts and resources to alleviate suffering. Our hearts were lifted by the kindness and hospitality of our hosts and new found friends.
May God bless you all on your continued efforts to erase hate and advocate for the dignity of all people. Your fight for justice and human rights is so important in today’s world of poverty, war and refugees throughout the world.
