The FBI shares in the sorrow of the Uvalde community, and we extend our deepest sympathy to those who lost their family, friends, and children in this tragedy. We have surged resources and personnel to the scene. Our special agents, victim specialists, and evidence response team are assisting our law enforcement partners. In the coming days, we will continue to support the victims and help uncover the events leading up to this vile crime.

If you have any questions about the specialized active shooter trainings offered by our FBI Field Office, please don’t hesitate to ask. We encourage our partners to access the FBI Active Shooter Resource Page, which includes training videos, reports, and documentaries:

We take every threat seriously. We continue to urge the public to remain vigilant and report any and all suspicious activity and/or individuals to law enforcement immediately. Additionally, the National Threat Operations Center (NTOC) is a centralized hub for the public to provide tips, complaints, and other information about ongoing or potential federal crimes, 24 hours a day. The public can reach NTOC via telephone at 1-800-CALL FBI or electronically (E-Tips) at https://tips.fbi.gov/.
