On November 11th and 12th, 2016, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Nu Alpha Sigma Chapter hosted its 10th Annual Minority Male Leadership Academy (MMLA) Conference in Detroit under the leadership of Chapter President Winston O’Neal and MMLA Committee Chair Jerome L. Younger.
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity is proudly celebrating 102 years of keeping alive the Fraternity’s Motto, “Culture for Service, Service for Humanity.” The Minority Male Leadership Academy Conference is an educational workshop that motivates middle and high school students. The MMLA program emphasizes the importance of education, positive African American leadership, community, and having a positive self-image.
“Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity has been promoting diversity, human rights and inclusion for over 100 years,” said Imad Hamad Executive Director AHRC. “We are honored and proud to support the MMLA and efforts by the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity to inspire our youth and uplift the community,” added Mr. Hamad.
