The Michigan Task Force for Palestine will be hosting an indoor rally in solidarity with the Palestinian people. The rally will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Greenfield Manor Banquet Hall in Dearborn, Michigan.
This rally is a protest of President Trump’s declaration of the “Deal of the Century,” a pseudo peace plan to end the Arab-Israeli conflict. This proposal was soundly rejected by all Palestinians as well as by peace advocates and by advocate of a world governed by international law and not by ideology or political expediency.
This peaceful solidarity event will serve as an opportunity for the Arab American and Muslim American community, as well as for peace and justice advocates, to express their support for a just and lasting peace in Palestine.
The event is open to the public.
The Michigan Task force for Palestine reserves the right to assure that the event proceed in full accordance with its committee’s plans. It urges the public and anticipated guests to kindly respect the event’s arrangements as planned. The Committee asks the anticipated guests to arrive on time in order for the program to remain on track.
