The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) extends its best wishes to fellow Americans and those who celebrate at home and abroad a Happy and Merry Christmas. May God’s blessings of peace and love touch all the hearts across the globe. Christmas is a special time of family gatherings, sharing, giving, caring and celebrating. This is a time where we are reminded of the true meaning of this precious occasion to preserve our values of rich diversity, tolerance, mutual respect and embracing our human bond. Indeed, it is a time to celebrate our common humanity despite all of the challenges facing our nation and the world. This holiday season is an occasion to let the spirit of love rise strong and high verses the spirit of evil and its destructive impact on our humanity.

We hope and pray that the year 2017 will mark the end of many if not all the tragedies in the world and we all celebrate a year of human rights, human respect and human dignity towards a world of peace for all.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors of the American Human Rights Council, I would like to wish all who celebrate a very blessed and Merry Christmas,” said Dr. Opada Alzohaili, Board President of AHRC-USA. “We look forward to our continued work together from all of our partners in humanity of all cultures in the new year and beyond,” continued Dr. Alzohaili.

“This is the season to remember to give of our hearts and to recognize and honor the humanity in ourselves and others,” said Imad Hamad, AHRC Executive Director. We hope this Christmas season brings forth a renewed commitment to protect and preserve human rights here at home and abroad,” continued Mr. Hamad.
