The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) expresses its appreciation to the Dearborn Community Center (DCC) for its Tribute of Appreciation Award presentation to Mr. Imad Hamad, AHRC Executive Director, and to the AHRC for their dedication and commitment to defending, prompting, protecting and advancing human rights in America and abroad.
The Tribute of Appreciation was presented during a well- attended Iftar Dinner with elected officials celebrating the holy month of Ramadan on Friday, June 8, 2018. AHRC extends its appreciation for such a heartfelt recognition, as well as expresses its congratulations to all other awardees among them Mayor O’Reilly of Dearborn, Eric Sabree- WC Treasurer, US senator Gary Peters, Gary Woronchak, Wayne County Commission; Chief Ronald Haddad, Dearborn Police Department; Dr. Samir Al-Hadidi, Hanania Club, Dearborn Fresh and several others.
“We thank DCC for their kind gesture during the blessed month of Ramadan,” said Imad Hamad, AHRC Executive Director. “We in the human rights community and in the faith communities have the same goals- serving humanity,” concluded Hamad.
