The American Human Rights Council offers internships to high school and college students who are interested in human rights and community service. Interns can be part of various projects related to human rights in general and prisoners’ rights and affairs in particular.  The interns students can earn school credit, community service, student stipend or whatever available opportunities.

AHRC Executive Committee Members and office volunteers will work closely with the students and provide them with the necessary support system to help them meet their academic and future professional goals.  The AHRC internship will serve as an opportunity to advance the students knowable and involvement serving the cause of human rights. To enroll in this program and become an AHRC student intern, please forward your resume to: info@ahrcusa.org to the Attention of Ms. Minnie Washington, AHRC Board Member AHRC Internship Director along with a cover letter stating your interest and the purpose of your internship. Please note that internship availability will be assed based first come first serve basis as spaces are limited.
