The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) congratulates Mr. Filippo Grandi on his new post as UN High Commissioner for Refugees succeeding António Guterre. High Commissioner Grandi takes up the position at a time of an unprecedented refugee crisis. The refugee crisis is one of the most challenges humanitarian crises facing the world today.
