The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) joins all peace-loving people in Dearborn, Michigan and across the nation, in condemning the cowardly attack on the Divine Child Church in Dearborn.
The perpetrator entered the church on August 23 and threw what appeared to be fireworks that caused some damages to the church and startled the worshipers. According to Dearborn Police, this suspect who committed this act of hate is responsible for similar incidents around the city.
“We salute the Dearborn police for arresting the suspect,” said Imad Hamad, AHRC Executive Director. “The right to worship in safety and peace is sacrosanct and is a fundamental human right,” added Hamad.
