The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) commends Michigan State Representative Robinson for honoring and recognizing two Wayne University students groups for their humanitarian work providing aid to orphans and refugees.
State Rep. Robinson welcomed both students’ organizations, the WSU student’s organizations, WSU Students 4 Humanity and the WSU Orphan Relief to the Michigan House of Representatives, in Lasing on Thursday, March 14, 2019. The young leaders were presented with Special Tributes from the State of Michigan recognizing their leadership and humanitarian work across the globe.
AHRC appreciates these important gestures towards the students expressing appreciation for their volunteer work and their efforts serving humanity. Encouraging the young and youth leaders to be active and involved serves the interests of society. We salute State Rep. Robinson for his kind gesture.
“It was an honor to welcome Orphan Relief and Students for Humanity to the Michigan House of Representatives. We paused to recognize these young human rights leaders for their commitment to justice and trailblazing humanitarian work for orphans, refugees and children in Detroit and abroad. said Rep. Isaac Robinson (District 4- Detroit).
“Recognizing the work of our young men and women in student organizations for the noble work they do on behalf of humanity is important and highly commendable” said Imad Hamad, AHRC Executive Director. “This was a well-deserved tribute and a well-deserved recognition to the WSU students,” concluded Hamad.
