The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) joins all peace loving people across the globe in expressing its sincere condolences to the victims’ families who lost their lives as a result of the inhumane, terrorist and horrific massacre in the city of Nice, France on Thursday, July 14, 2016 as people were celebrating French Bastille Day, a national holiday and a symbol of liberty in France. The victims included people from so many nationalities including Arabs & Muslims as well.

AHRC-USA wishes all the injured a speedy recovery and all people who were impacted by this heinous crime and first class act of hate. The criminal and the driver of the truck, was a French citizen of Tunisian ancestry, and a Nice resident, who plowed and drove through the crowd where people were celebrating this special occasion. Regardless of the identity of the criminal who committed this horrific crime and regardless of whether this person was connected to an organized terrorist group or not, this constitutes a first class act of terror and hate that is condemned by the strongest terms.

This act of hate, terror and violence is another painful reminder and another tragic alert that terror, hate and violence are common enemies of all of humanity and the free world. Once again, such crimes calls upon the free world to stand united in order to chase, defeat and eliminate this universal threat that recognizes no religion and no borders.
