On Saturday, April 30, 2016,
the Arab-American and Muslim Leadership Council will host a legal training/seminar for Islamic Center and Non-profit leaders. This training will be held at the Fairlane Club located at 5000 Fairlane Woods Drive, Dearborn, MI 48126. The cost for a center or organization to attend will be $250. Key presentations will be given by the following accomplished attorneys of the Constitution Law Center for Muslims in America: Charles Swift, Director and Counsel; Catherine McDonald, Staff Attorney; Ausaf K. Farooqi, Board Member, Christina A. Jump, Staff Attorney; and Marwa Elbially, Project Resource Attorney.
The topics to be covered are relations with federal authorities, overseas charitable activities, Masajid and other religious Construction, Hate and free speech, challenges to 501©(3) status and employment discrimination.
