The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) extends its best wishes to all around the world who are celebrating Mother’s Day today. March 21 (similar to Sunday May 1, 2017 Mother’s Day in United States of America) is the first day of spring and is celebrated as Mother’s day in many countries in the world.

Mothers play a key role in the socialization of their children. Indeed, it is not an exaggeration to state that the most important influence on the child is the mother. Therefore, as a human rights organization, we believe that investment in improving the lives of women and mothers is an investment in the future of the planet.
“While we celebrate Mother’s day once year, the contributions of mothers to their family continue every single day of the year,” said Imad Hamad, AHRC Executive Director. “Mothers are our indispensable partners in our mission of creating and promoting the culture of respect for human rights of everyone,” concluded Hamad.
