The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) extends its wishes to all for a safe and pleasant Independence Day holiday celebrating the nation’s founding.

Independence Day is a special time to celebrate our freedoms and reflect on our values, past and future. The greatness of any nation is measured by its ability to uphold its moral authority to live by its values. The US considers itself a role model for other nations.

Promoting freedom is a core foreign policy goal. For too long the US-Palestine policy has not reflected American values of upholding human rights. The US has not only failed to end the continued Israeli genocidal war against the occupied Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, but the US also fully and unconditionally supports it.

Independence Day is an important reminder to all of us that through working together we can bring peace to our communities and can contribute to the safety and security of our nation.

AHRC salutes all the men and women of the law enforcement family across the nation who work tirelessly and around the clock to provide the security that enables all of us to celebrate.

AHRC Mission:
The American Human Rights Council (AHRC) is dedicated to defending and protecting human rights as outlined in the U.S. Constitution and the United Nations 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). The AHRC was formed to protect these rights and advocate for anyone whose rights are being violated or denied. To that end, the AHRC will build a tenacious, objective, and carefully guided advocacy program that will serve to defend individual human rights, whenever and wherever they are being infringed upon.
