The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) is pleased to welcome Ms. London J. Bell, J.D., LL.M as its newest staff member. Ms London brings with her a rich experience of human rights advocacy.  Currently, London holds the position of President of the Board of Directors for the United Nations Association (UNA-USA) of Greater Detroit, one of over 100 chapters of the United Nations Association of the United States of America. The goal of the UNA-USA is to engage communities to raise awareness and support around the principles and work of the United Nations.
 London is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law where she earned her JD and L.L.M. (Master of Laws).  London’s expertise is in international law with a focus on human rights.
London is deeply involved in human rights issues. She has co-authored and submitted an Alternative Report to the United Nations expert treaty body governing the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) regarding the issues of sexual and labor trafficking of women and girls in Peru.
 “Atty. Bell is a great addition to our AHRC team,” said Dr. Opada Alzohaili, AHRC President. “AHRC will benefit from her expertise to advance AHRC’s goals,” continued Alzohaili.
