“President Obama reflected the genuine American values that are stronger than the death cult of ISIS,” said Imad Hamad, AHRC Executive Director. “The terror acts committed we have witnessed are outliers, The Muslim American community overwhelmingly is countering terrorists and their ideology. Muslim Americans are partners with the government in countering hate and radicalization, Terror and hate are our enemies. Our division and scapegoating of Muslim Americans not only do not help America win its war on terror, they actually help the enemy in advancing its bankrupt worldview of a Western war on Islam and Muslims,” stated Hamad.
