The American Human rights Council (AHRC-USA) is gratified and honored to receive the 2018 Angel Award-Organization of the Year as well as a Certificate of Appreciation for AHRC support presented by the Children Spa for Children With Disabilities Organization in Detroit during its annual Angel Awards Celebration that was held on Sunday, November 19, 2018 at the Peace and Goodwill Baptist Church in Detroit.

AHRC Imad Hamad, Executive Director and board members Mr. Salah Ali and attorney Isaac Robinson (State Rep-Elect) joined the ceremony receiving this honor.

“The Children Spa For Children With Disabilities honored the AHRC at our “Angel Awards Celebration ” as our “Organization of the Year” for their outstanding service and untiring efforts that they render in order to make a difference in the lives of others” said Cheryl Major, Founder of the Children Spa for Children with Disabilities.

AHRC expresses its sincere appreciation for this recognition that attests to the great work of AHRC.

AHRC extends it warm congratulations to all the other Angel Awardees among them  Mr. Paul Johnson III of Disability Network Wayne County/Detroit Angel Award Advocate of the year, Businesses of the Year Wrigley Pharmacy and Captain Jays Fish and Chicken, Hero of the Year, Officer Dale Dorsey/ Detroit Police Department as well as other community leaders.

“We appreciate this special award for AHRC coming from a great grass-roots humanitarian service organization in Detroit,” said Imad Hamad, AHRC Executive Director. “We pledge to continue our work to serve humanity,” concluded Hamad.
